Renovation Approvals in Dubai
The first approval question is where the property sits and what the renovation changes. Obtain the building or community rules, then have the proposed work classified through the authority responsible for that address.
Find the route for the address
Ask the owner or manager which authority handles the property and who accepts renovation submissions. Keep the building name, unit or plot number, ownership or tenancy details and management contact together. A contractor should be able to explain the submission route for the actual premises before committing to site dates.
Dubai Development Authority publishes distinct fit-out and building-modification services. Its fit-out page lists a building-owner NOC, a copy of Ejari, a contractor appointment letter from the tenant, and approved stamped drawings plus proposed drawings among the required documents. Use those requirements only when that route applies to the property; another building may have a different reviewing authority.
Describe changes so the reviewer can classify them

A building NOC, authority permit and completion record perform different jobs. Put each required document on the programme with an owner and a clear status.
