Separate the electric fireplace appliance from the media-wall construction. The chosen model and the wall drawing define what can be priced together.
Choose the appliance before pricing the enclosure
A media-wall total can include an electric fire, framing and lining, decorative finish, cabinets, lighting, electrical work and audiovisual installation. Request each package separately so an appliance-only price cannot be mistaken for the fitted feature.
Record the exact fire and television models with the wall dimensions. Dimplex’s Ignite Bold manual gives model-specific framing dimensions, electrical requirements and guidance for objects above the heater. Use the actual selected appliance and screen instructions to agree the design; a reference image does not establish those requirements.
What to measure and specify
Show delivery, fitting and commissioning where included. Confirm who handles the appliance warranty and any client-supplied equipment.
Include recesses, returns, shelves, cabinets, hardware and access details. The front elevation alone may omit side finishes.
Specify the proposed power connection, cable routing, controls and TV bracket responsibility in the agreed design.
Worked arithmetic: separate appliance and finish
For illustration, assume an appliance allowance of AED 3,000, 8 m² of a specified wall finish at an invented AED 250/m², and an AED 800 electrical package. The listed subtotal is 3,000 + (8 × 250) + 800 = AED 5,800. These assumed inputs are not a market estimate or 800 Master Renovations price.
The calculation includes no framing, cabinets or TV unless those items are explicitly inside the stated lines. Ask whether the measured finish area includes recesses and returns. Compare a different appliance as a priced option, including any corresponding design and construction changes.
