Information needed before a media wall quote
Provide model information for the electric fireplace, TV, mount, speakers and other equipment that will be built into or supported by the wall. Add a measured room and wall plan, seating position, finish references and the storage or display functions required.
Manufacturer information remains the source for model-specific opening, clearance, ventilation, mounting, power and access requirements. This checklist does not cover gas, wood-burning, chimney or flue installation.

A concept can be explored, but final openings, clearances, ventilation, power and access should use the selected model information before construction or fabrication.

Record dimensions, substrate or framing, existing services, nearby openings, AC grilles, curtains, skirting, ceiling and the intended weight of finishes and equipment.
03Should cables be permanently concealed?+
Cable routes can be concealed, but connections and equipment should remain appropriately accessible for service or replacement. The access method should be shown in the design.
