Price the replacement assembly
Identify the existing bath, the proposed shower footprint and the finishes being retained. The quotation should cover bath removal and disposal, exposed substrate work, the proposed drain and plumbing connections, waterproofing, tile or tray installation, shower fittings and the enclosure.
Keep waterproofing and its verification visible. Schluter describes a water test as a quality check before tile is installed in its shower system. That partial total excludes tile supply, plumbing and shower fittings. Add the actual quoted lines before comparing it with a complete package. Check whether the waterproofing price includes its preparation and verification so these costs are neither omitted nor counted twice.
